I attended my Automotive Electrical Systems course and love it! It is not easy, but it is very, very fun. We played with all sorts of electrical stuff. Why have you guys been keeping all these fun things to yourselves?
I’m driving 460 miles to test drive a 2006 Winnebago View today. (230 miles each way.)
I finally had a second person come look at my house. It’s been very slow….
My birthday is this weekend!
I’ll let you know how the test drive went on Monday. I really hope this one goes better than the last one…
Take care,
Jennifer

Wishing you the best of luck on the test drive and classes.
The hospital gown and the jumper cables – a bit disturbing. I thought I had a pretty keen/sarcastic sense of humor, but ..um …no.
You are on my blogs to read because I really want to see where this trainwreck is going – but honestly?
I don’t think I am up for the view. Take care.
[Besides that? - Bob's know it all ramblings drive me to distraction]
Good luck on your test drive and Happy Birthday to you
I’m glad you are enjoying your classes. It’s always fun to learn something new. It keeps the mind fresh and healthy.
Best wishes on the test drive. You really are stuck on the Winnebago View aren’t ya? LoL. I hope “she’s the one”. Remember not to let the salesperson rush you into anything!
Two people through to view the house is better than none! Hang in there. Real estate can be bizarre. There never really is a rhyme or reason to it so don’t take it personal.
Happy Birthday!! I hope you and your husband have something special planned for this weekend!
At the risk of rambling:
RV there yet?

How rude!
I see a couple a A-holes have found your blog!
This is one of my favorite ones to read, pay no attention to the bully’s, you are doing all the right things and should be proud of yourself.
Rude? I thought it was funny. Jennifer is traveling far and yon to look at RVs. But that picture is a sign that obsession with RVs can go farther and yonder than anyone might expect.
It all seems so innocent and harmless, when you crawl into that first tent. But then there’s sleeping bags, and backpacks, and portable stoves, and pop-ups behind the minivan, and pretty soon you start disappearing completely on weekends, and then for weeks at a time … and eventually one day you wake up groggy in a strange place, and recognize you are completely out of control.
“Hi. My name is Bob, and I RV.”
Bob
I thought it was funny Bob. I so see something like that on my head stone. Hopefully quite a way out…
The first “Anon” person who doesn’t even have the stones to put a real name. That’s pretty comical. I think that was pretty rude.
I would love to hear about their “train wreck” of a life.
To expand, it’s incredibly rude of someone to make a public comment calling someones life a “train wreck”. I can’t imagine following this very personal and candid blog, and then passing judgement. Personally I find the photos and illustrations that accompany the blog to be fantastically clever.
Oh, and to post the comment as “anon” is pretty weak as well.
I think Jennifer is brutally honest and many people don’t have the guts to do that. I think Anon needs to just leave. See, it’s people like that who make the world a harder place to live. I look forward to Jennifer’s next picture (like Hal said, they are fantastically clever) and I look forward to Bob’s next comic or other funny thing he chooses to share.
Now back to RV’ing…Jen, let us know how the test drive goes. That’s great that the guys in the class are welcoming you.
Keep at it! Oh, and happy birthday!
Kari
What if the house doesn’t sell… is it all called off?
First tip for up-coming parents…don’t call it Anon! Kid will end up meaningless and shallow!
Happy Birthday Jen!Good luck with the test drive. If all goes well, we all look forward to seeing pictures one day.
Apparently I have the right sense of humor, because I appreciate it.
As for Mr. Rude Anon, I suspect if some of us were as honest as Jennifer our blogs would read a lot more like hers than we’d admit.
Happy birthday, Jennifer.
Hi Jennifer,
This is my first time commenting on your blog but I’ve been reading it for a while. I just want to wish you a Happy Birthday! I’ve really enjoyed your blog and can’t wait to follow you on your adventure. Don’t let the bastards get you down.
Pam
Not everyone that reads a blog needs to be supportive, it’s a perogative of the internet.
Having said that tho, not everyone needs to post negative either. I always said “if you can’t say something nice”.
Anon probably has many issues, and isn’t ballsy enough to post their own blog or be NON-ANON!
So BAH.
Take it from the source Jen, keep posting.
I like your blog, and hope your house sells fast. It will give me hope!!
Hugs.
Karyn
Wow, I was completed trashed and totally redeemed all in one day! ; )
Thank you guys, so much, for the supportive comments and birthday well wishes. I think you all do know how much they mean to me and that I very much appreciate them.
Box – I will still go if the house doesn’t sell (I’ll rent my house), but will have to get a much cheaper RV. I saw one today that might work! I’ll post more on Monday. 500 miles today, so I’m off to bed!
Take care,
Jennifer
Happy Birthday!!! Looking forward to reading what you learned over the weekend!
Happy Bday!!! Hope you had a wish, or more, come true!
And I LOVE Bob’s “ramblings”…wish his blog was continued. (hints abounding)
The class sounds awesome! I am terrified (read intimidated) by electrical stuff…sigh.
I do wish that (in my day) “Automotive Shop” was a prerequisite in High School…instead of HOME-ICK.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JEN!!! Hope you have a great one! Can’t wait to hear about the test drive and the continuuing classes. You’re brave!
