Hang in there Jennifer! You are tough….you’ve been through WAY more difficult situations in life.
I hope you two are able to get a lot accomplished. As you are working on the house – keep visualizing that you house is already sold. If you personally detach yourself from the house and treat it as “someone elses” the Universe will line up your stars. When we were selling our last house I cut out a “SOLD” sign out of a magazine and carried it with my in my wallet. Every time I looked at the picture it would remind me to continue channeling my energy towards the house being SOLD. Our house literally sold within three weeks (in a horrible economy at that). Sounds kinda silly but it does work.
Have you gotten around to reading any more of The Power of Now?
Wishing you a productive and joyful day! <3

Countdown: 161 days until you move into your RV!!
Hi Jennifer,
I came across your blog some time ago when I read one of your posts on rv.net. I can’t stay away honestly – and I don’t mean that in the rubbernecking a train wreck sense, but more in the pulling for you to get where you want to be sense….If that makes sense….
My wife and I own a 45′ motorhome (Marathon). I have done mucho research on motorhomes in the past. Please add Motorhomes of Texas to your shopping list. I have not bought a coach from them but have had service work done there. Great people with a great reputation. Just received a flyer from them yesterday advertising a couple of Foretravels in your price range. Foretravel makes an excellent coach from everything I can tell. Check them out. I think they are a cut above the Winnie you are now looking at.
As to the house remodel, suck it up and carry on – the end result is more than worth it. You are going to love your new lifestyle.
Good luck!
Dear Angie, You feel like this bright light that represents what I am aiming for! I mean, you always have this incredibly positive perspective and I know you are right with me needing to visualize. (Or to visualize in a better way, that is. I feel pretty sheepish about my selected graphic now!)
Dear Gordon, Thanks for saying hello. I LOVE to hear about other people’s experiences, stories, etc, so thank you for sharing some of yours. Your opening comment made me laugh because I asked someone recently if they thought people were reading my blog in the ‘can’t tear my eyes away from a car wreck’ kind of way. Your comment makes me feel better!
Thanks,
Jennifer
***For some reason, comments are now getting stuck in my spam filter, so if people are posting and not seeing them, that it was is causing the delay.***
Good luck with the work. I hope you realize the results you are looking for and can put this task behind you!
A remodeling is always money better spent than lowering the price of house for listing. When we were trying to sell the house in San Antonio the first time in Jan. 2oo8… three months later, there was no takers… we took it off the market for a month. Our realtor was thinking maybe we should lower the price a little more, but Jeremy thought remodeling is better. Because the emotional impact of a well remodeled house will be more powerful than number…
He was right! We spent about 3K on remodeling, done in one month. The house was sold one month after that! Time and money well spent, and that was right at the beginning of the real estate going south~
Good luck and Angie is right, she was sharing the “Secret” with you~ really believe and see yourself sighing the house over, it will happen! I don’t believe in religion, but I do believe in the power of the energy in the universe, put it out there and your wish is going to come true, it worked for me all these years, I am sure you will too!
Dear Barb, Thanks for the well wishes!
Dear Jacq, That info on the remodel is *very* encouraging to me. I know you and Angie are right. I do have a Winnebago Journey as my desktop background on my computer… That’s a start, right? ; )
Nice to hear from you,
Jennifer
